A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE
COMPANY
KONČAR - Household Appliances Ltd. is formed by joining KONČAR - Cookers
Ltd. and KONČAR - Small Appliances d.o.o. end of 1998. year. Company is
headquartered in Zagreb, Žitnjak b.b.
KONČAR - Cookers was developed from the factory, GORAN, which in its
basic program produced stoves, solid fuel and catering equipment.
GORAN factory teams up with factory CONTACT 1963rd year. Then it adopts
the production primarily of oil furnaces and stoves, electric
cookers and washing machines in cooperation with the German company AEG.
During this period reached a production of about 150,000 pieces of
equipment annually.
KONČAR - Small household appliances based in Samobor has evolved from
the factory ELEKTRON producing
electric water heaters, irons, vacuum cleaners, calorifers, toasters, etc. The factory ELEKTRON in 1963.
joins with the factory CONTACT. The current production of home
appliances increased and modernized
and expanded on the kitchen fryers, steam irons in collaboration with AEG.
During this period, production of
electric dry irons has grown to over 100,000 units per year.
Both factories CONTACT, which produced household appliances combine with
the companies work
KONČAR 1970th year. After that, in both of these plants come up with
significant adoption of the production of
household appliances under its own development, especially in the
production of small household appliances
and electrical water heaters. Cooperation, and purchasing tools and
equipment to manufacture electrical,
combined and gas stoves, modern washing machines, a modernized
production of small household
appliances and application of polymers in water heaters with own development
and processing.
In 2004. two companies was annexed to Končar Household Appliances Ltd:
KONČAR - Trade agencies d.d. and
KONČAR - Service and sales d.d.
Following this alliance, the company KONČAR - Household Appliances Ltd.,
except that manufactures home
appliances and purchased their own development as a primary activity,
engaged in manufacturing and services,
sales of household appliances from their own production and cooperation,
or imports, and servicing during the
warranty period and ioutwarranty period own production equipment and
appliances sold in Croatia. |
